Overview: Sleep/Stress Analysis

You will review your Sleep Log, reflecting on the types of sleep and the impact of sleep deprivation on health. You’ll conduct a short Sleep Analysis using data from your Sleep Log.

Sleep/Stress Analysis

Referring to the weekly readings, you will identify which level best describes your own stress. You will also self-assess your stress levels and personality type using online tools and analyze the implications of your typical and atypical stress levels.

You are encouraged to practice stress-reduction techniques, some of which are described in your readings. As a healthcare professional, you will often find yourself in stressful situations, but applying such techniques to yourself will help you teach those skills to your stressed clients.

significantly more analysis than summary and personal evaluation.

YOU SHOULD INCLUDE A SUBTLE REFERENCE TO YOUR THESIS IN THE

PARAGRAPH.

Be sure to highlight your summaries in yellow, your evaluations in blue, and your

analyses/interpretations in green.

Furthermore, be sure to format your practice work as per the Modern Language Association of

America (MLA) Style.

Inclusive gender leadership is a leadership style that values and respects the contributions of all people, regardless of their gender identity or expression. There are many benefits to inclusive gender leadership. Organizations with inclusive leadership cultures are more likely to have higher levels of employee engagement, productivity, and innovation. They are also more likely to attract and retain top talent.

There are many things that leaders can do to create more inclusive gender leadership cultures. Here are a few examples:

• Be aware of your own biases. Everyone has biases, but it’s important to be aware of them so that you can avoid making decisions based on them.
• Create a culture of open communication. Encourage employees to share their ideas and perspectives, regardless of their gender identity or expression.
• Be willing to challenge stereotypes. When you hear someone making a sexist remark, don’t be afraid to speak up.
• Promote gender diversity in leadership positions. When you’re hiring or promoting people, make sure to consider all qualified candidates, regardless of their gender.

Inclusive gender leadership is not easy, but it’s worth it. When leaders create inclusive cultures, everyone benefits.

Here are some additional tips for inclusive gender leadership:

• Be mindful of your language. Avoid using gendered language, such as “manpower” or “mankind.” Instead, use gender-neutral terms, such as “human resources” or “peoplekind.”
• Be respectful of everyone’s pronouns. If someone tells you their pronouns, be sure to use them. It’s a small gesture that shows you respect their identity.
• Be an ally to women and other gender-diverse people. Speak up when you see sexism or discrimination. Support women and other gender-diverse people in their career development.

By following these tips, you can create a more inclusive gender leadership culture in your organization.

PY 570 Weekly Paper Assignment (SUMMER)

Purpose:

This assignment aims to develop comprehension of key concepts related to specific theoretical approaches to psychotherapy. Weekly papers allow students to apply critical thinking skills and develop a deeper understanding of the similarities and differences among varying approaches to psychotherapy.

Ethics In Psychotherapy

Objectives :

1. Students will be able to define ethical responsibilities in establishing the therapeutic relationship and will be able to articulate the importance of maintaining boundaries and remaining focused on clear goals and objectives during the therapeutic process.

2. Students will be able to define key concepts and theoretical underpinnings of various approaches to psychotherapy, including existential, Gestalt, person-centred, cognitive behavioural, and solution-focused brief therapy.

3. Students will be able to analyze the relative strengths and weaknesses of each approach to psychotherapy and will be able to identify the potential benefits and limitations of each

approach.

Preparation Instructions :

1. Compose papers using Microsoft Word.

2. The paper should be formatted and typed using Times New Roman, 12-point font,

double-spaced, and one-inch margins (no exceptions).

3. Papers must be 2-3 pages in length and MUST follow APA format. (Points will be

Understanding research methodology and the sections of a journal article is critical for success in our field. This Article Review Assignment will help you learn to objectively evaluate research, to find scholarly sources of information, and to use them as a source of knowledge. This Article Review Assignment can also help you in your professional development.

These Article Review Assignments are to help you to remember the most important aspects of each article. By the end, you will have three article summaries on social psychological research that can help you both in this course and in future research and coursework.

Research is an important skill for working in the field of psychology

Instructions

Over several modules, you will complete three Article Review Assignments that relate to the following topics:

· Module 1: Introduction. Please choose any topic of interest that is related to Social Psychology.

· Module 3: Reducing Negative Perceptions as it relates to the topic of Stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination

· Module 6: The Need to Belong as it relates to the topic of Close relationships

In each Article Review Assignment, you will find and learn about the research that relates to one of these topics. To find these articles, you can search google scholar, one of the library’s psychology databases (i.e. PSYC INFO), or look in a specific journal (i.e. Journal of Applied Psychology). Do NOT use reviews or opinion articles. This MUST be a peer-reviewed, experimental research article.

Note: do not use the journal articles in the Learn Sections for this.

Once you have chosen an article that relates to the topic, summarize the article in at least 350 words.

Your Article Review Assignments should include the following components:

· Introduction: Include general information about the article in the introduction, including a ​very brief overview of the previous literature on the topic and identifying the gap in the literature that demonstrates the need for this article.

· Hypothesis Section: what the article attempts to find out or answer

· Methods Section: how the article answers the question or questions it proposes

· Results Section: what the article found

· Practical Significance/Discussion: What the results actually mean

· References page: Title and authors of the article in current APA format

Be careful to ensure that your answers to the above information make sense to you. You want to be able to develop the skill of making complex/academic information easy to understand to non-academic people.
