In preparation for Part I, students will develop an A-Z Glossary of Terms to use in the Strategic Plan and develop a “client” profile that includes the organization’s mission, programs or services, budget, and leader mandates.

Then following the information provided in the textbook and the General Criteria listed above, develop a “situational analysis” of your chosen government agency or department. Develop a “client” profile that includes the organization’s mission, programs or services, budget, and leader mandates, and do a full SWOT analysis.

Strategic Plan: Part II

Strategy Formulation (represents 20% of the final grade). Following the information in the textbook and the General Criteria listed above, develop long-range strategies from the situational analysis, including the organization’s programs or services, budget needs, and leader mandates.

When both Part I and Part I are complete, they will be combined to make a single comprehensive Client report.
