Group Case Study Assignment

Assignment: Provide a written collaborative analysis of the assigned case study.

When students are presented with a case, they place themselves in the role of the decision maker as they read through the situation and identify the problem they are faced with. The next step is to perform the necessary analysis—examining the causes and considering alternative courses of actions to come to a set of recommendations.

Case Study Research Paper

1. Students should read and reflect on the case.

2. Meet in their learning teams to discuss their findings with other classmates.

3. Working together, question and probe the underlying issues.

4. Compare different alternatives (possible course of action for management)

5. Suggest one or more specific courses of action from the possible actions identified above, in light of the organization’s objectives.

6. Provide a justification of your decision.

My role as your professor is to watch as case studies unfold, make observations and ask questions. At the end of the class, you’ll be amazed at what you learn from exchanging ideas with your classmates.

Requirements:

• There is no minimum or maximum required number of pages. Your analysis will be considered complete, if it addresses each of the 6 components outlined above.
• Use of proper APA formatting and citations. If supporting evidence from outside resources is used those must be properly cited. A minimum of 7 sources (excluding the course textbook) from scholarly articles or business periodicals is required.
• Include your best critical thinking and analysis to arrive at your justification.
• Approach the assignment from the perspective of a qualified attorney.
