With the advancement of technology, there has been an ever-increasing tension between the two values we all treasure – privacy and safety. As we studied, the US Constitution provides some privacy guarantees (e.g. in the Fourth Amendment), which protects individuals against unreasonable searches and seizures. However, Australians lack a constitutional right to data privacy. To what extent do you agree with the following statement:
