A public service announcement (PSA) is a message in the public interest, disseminated without charge, with the objective of raising awareness of, and changing public attitudes and behavior towards, a health-related issue.
PSAs have a simple, powerful message that sticks with the viewer, sometimes becoming part of society’s collective psyche. They are not infographics which synthesize large amounts of information for general consumption.
You will create and submit an original PSA for the public health topic you researched. The PSA may be a meme, a billboard, a multi-media display, or an original radio or TV announcement (60 seconds or less).
You may not use copyrighted or trademarked materials. Assume that everything that appears on the web is either copyrighted or trademarked (including icons and images) unless it specifically states it may be copied for public use.
