Narrative Project

The Narrative Project consists of the following parts:

1) Create a write-up, based on our process of creating questions/interview & the in class interview with a notable local woman.

Your write-up should be approximately 3 typed pages. Hopefully, you took some notes

during or shortly after the interview; otherwise you may need to work from memory. I

will attempt to load audio onto D2L if possible.

Your task is to conduct some content analysis. This should proceed as follows:

(a) based on the content of what our interview subject said, create some content

categories and themes,

(b) consider themes our class has covered (such as lifespan issues, gender and career,

etc.) and analyze if and how these themes were covered in the interview

Also consider what our interview subject did *not* talk about. Are there other things you

might have been interested in knowing? How did your interview questions hold

up? Were they open enough? Not too leading? Would you do anything differently?
